13 Units of Blood Collected at Blood Donation Camp Organized by PIMS

Udaipur: On the occasion of Jagannath Shinde’s 75th birthday, a one-day blood donation camp was organized on January 24 at the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) blood bank. The event was jointly conducted by the Venkateshwara Institute of Pharmacy, Sai Tirupati University, and the Rajasthan Chemist Alliance. The camp witnessed the collection of 13 units of blood, reflecting the enthusiastic participation of students and staff members.

Demonstrating a spirit of humanity and service, students and staff members actively participated in the camp, contributing to the noble cause of saving lives. Principal Khemchand Gupta highlighted the importance of such initiatives in raising awareness about the significance of blood donation.

“Blood donation is safe and beneficial, and every individual should come forward to contribute. It is not just an act of kindness but a gift of life,” he stated, emphasizing the life-saving impact of voluntary blood donation.

The camp served as an opportunity to educate participants about the importance of donating blood and dispelled myths surrounding the process. Under the guidance of Ms. Amita Pujari from the PIMS blood bank, the event was conducted seamlessly, ensuring a safe and efficient donation process.
