World Earth Day celebrated in Nanded

Nanded, April 22 : World Earth Day (Jajtik Vasundara Diwas) was celebrated on Friday at Dutt Senior College of Arts, Commerce and Science at Hadgaon in the district on behalf of the Central Government, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Regional Public Relations Bureau, Nanded here. Expressing their views, the dignitaries said that efforts should be made for the protection and conservation of the planet . The uncontrolled use of resources such as the earth’s forests, air, water, mineral resources, land, etc., has threatened the very existence of our planet and is causing rapid changes in the atmosphere and it damaged not only to mankind but to all living things on earth. On this occasion, Prof. Narwade opined that for the protection of the planet, it is necessary to start from scratch and clean up the environment by minimising the use of natural resources. While Prof. Anbhule narrated the history of Earth Day and said due to the use of wind gauge resources on earth due to human greed, the environment is changing rapidly. VKB NV SY 1613
