Western Railway to Launch Special Superfast Trains Between Bandra Terminus and Ahmedabad
Mumbai, January 18 In an effort to accommodate increasing passenger demand and provide enhanced convenience, the Western Railway has announced the introduction of two special superfast trains operating between Bandra Terminus and Ahmedabad. These trains will run on a special fare basis.

According to a press release by Western Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Vineet Abhishek, the operational details of these special trains are as follows:
Train Details and Schedule
- Train No. 09091/09092 Bandra Terminus–Ahmedabad Superfast Special (2 Trips)
- Train No. 09091: This train will depart from Bandra Terminus at 6:15 AM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, and will arrive in Ahmedabad at 2:00 PM on the same day.
- Train No. 09092: Departing from Ahmedabad at 1:40 AM on Sunday, January 26, 2025, this train will reach Bandra Terminus at 8:40 AM the same day.
- Stops: The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Bharuch, and Vadodara.
- Coaches: The train will feature AC 3-Tier and AC Chair Car coaches.
- Train No. 09005/09006 Bandra Terminus–Ahmedabad Superfast Special (2 Trips)
- Train No. 09005: Scheduled to leave Bandra Terminus at 6:15 AM on Sunday, January 26, 2025, the train will arrive in Ahmedabad at 1:00 PM on the same day.
- Train No. 09006: This train will depart from Ahmedabad at 12:50 AM on Monday, January 27, 2025, and will reach Bandra Terminus at 8:30 AM on the same day.
- Stops: The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Bharuch, and Vadodara.
- Coaches: This train will feature AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier coaches.
