Kolkata, May 6 The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has officially announced the Madhyamik Pariksha 2026 schedule, with exams set to begin from February 2, 2026, and continue until February 12, 2026. The timetable applies to all students appearing for the Class 10 board examinations across the state.

According to the official notice released on May 6, 2025, all exams will be conducted in a single shift from 10:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the first 15 minutes reserved exclusively for reading the question paper.

🧪 Special Subject and Practical Exam Details

  • Sewing and Needle Work: 4 hours 15 minutes

  • Music (Vocal/Instrumental) Theory: 2 hours 15 minutes

    • Practical (Kolkata only): Venue and timing to be announced

  • Computer Applications Theory: 2 hours 45 minutes

    • Practical: Conducted by respective schools

  • Vocational Subjects Theory: 1 hour 45 minutes

    • Practical: Conducted by Sector Skill Councils or schools
