Vodafone Idea zooms on the bourses

Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 10.55, up by 0.57 points or 5.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 9.98 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 10.39 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 10.88 and Rs. 10.23 respectively. So far 108604342 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 13.80 on 15-Jan-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.55 on 05-Aug-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 10.88 and Rs. 9.81 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 30258.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.05%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.58% and 22.37% respectively.

Vodafone Idea is evaluating the option of converting interest dues arising out of the deferment of statutory payments into equity. The company is also in talks with banks and investors for raising funds and part of the proceeds is likely to be utilised towards meeting obligations related to debt maturing this fiscal.
