Vodafone Idea rings loudly after foraying into Esports

Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 6.76, up by 0.08 points or 1.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 6.68 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6.68 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6.79 and Rs. 6.67 respectively. So far 12296705 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 11.70 on 04-Mar-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6.33 on 27-Jan-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 7.17 and Rs. 6.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32858.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.87% and 20.14% respectively.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has expanded its mobile gaming catalogue with Esports. Partnering with leading esports start-up Gamerji, Vi under the umbrella of Vi Games, has launched an Esports platform on the Vi App.

Vi Games along with Gamerji will host popular Esports games across various genres such as Battle Royale, Racing, Cricket, Action Role Playing, etc. With an aim to make Vi App the preferred destination for gaming enthusiasts, the platform will have popular esports titles like New State, Free Fire Call of Duty Mobile, World Cricket Championship 3, Asphalt 9, Clash Royale during launch and will add more popular titles in due course.
