Uttam Swami Ji of Lodhi Kashi Honored as Patron of Shri Kashi Vidvat Parishad at Prayagraj Mahakumbh

Banswara / Udaipur / Prayagraj, January 27: In a moment of immense pride for Lodhi Kashi and Banswara, Param Pujya Uttam Swami Ji, the revered Mahant of Ravindra Dhyan Ashram, has been appointed as the Patron of Shri Kashi Vidvat Parishad, the world’s foremost institution of Sanskrit scholars and astrologers.

The announcement was made on the auspicious occasion of Magha Krishna Trayodashi (Sompradosh) during the Sanskritkumbh, an event organized at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. The program was held under the joint aegis of Shri Kashi Vidvat Parishad, Central Sanskrit University (Ganganath Jha Campus, Prayagraj), Sanskrit Ganga Prayagraj, and Sanskrit Bharati.

The Sanskritkumbh was inaugurated by Param Pujya Gurudev Mahamandaleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Ishwaranand Brahmachari Ji, Uttam Swami Ji Maharaj, Professor Lalit Kumar Tripathi (Director), Sarvagyabhushan Ji, Pramod Pandit (Regional Organization Minister), and Vishwajeet Ji.

The event brought together luminaries from the fields of Sanskrit, astrology, and spirituality, making it a landmark occasion celebrating India’s ancient knowledge systems.

In the second session, the prestigious Shri Kashi Vidvat Parishad formally honored Uttam Swami Ji by presenting a certificate of appreciation and appointing him as the Patron of the Parishad. The announcement was made by Professor Ramnarayan Dwivedi, National General Secretary of the Parishad, who praised Swami Ji’s profound interest in Sanskrit and his contributions to the preservation and promotion of traditional knowledge.

The honor was graciously accepted by Swami Ji, who reaffirmed his commitment to advancing Sanskrit and spiritual practices.
