Udaipur, January 28, 2025: Minister for Tribal Area Development (TAD), Babulal Kharaṛi, lauded the achievements of tribal youth, emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural heritage and fostering excellence in education. Speaking at the Tribal Talent Felicitation Ceremony, organized by the Tribal Area Development Department and TRI at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, he called upon the youth to set ambitious goals, assuring them of the government’s unwavering support in their journey.

Minister Kharaṛi celebrated the accomplishments of the tribal community, noting that many from the community now hold prestigious positions as collectors, SPs, and other administrative roles.
“Today’s honored talents are the bright future of our community,” he remarked, adding that respectful behavior and preserving ancestral heritage are just as crucial as professional success.

The minister urged students to embrace education as a means to become empowered and contribute meaningfully to society. He announced upcoming plans to offer free IAS coaching for aspiring candidates, stressing the importance of leadership and self-reliance.
“Our goal should not be limited to securing jobs but to becoming leaders in our fields,” he added.

Cultural Heritage and Social Responsibility

Highlighting India’s cultural values, Kharaṛi remarked,
“Our tradition does not believe in old-age homes; instead, it reveres parents as divine. We must work with a sense of service, inspired by those who have contributed significantly to society and the nation.”

He called for collective efforts to combat cultural degradation, urging attendees to draw lessons from global and neighboring events.

  • Class 10th: 32 students (17 boys, 15 girls).
  • Class 12th: 20 students (11 boys, 9 girls).
  • Gazetted Services: 26 individuals (14 men, 12 women).
  • NEET Exam Success: 101 students (61 boys, 40 girls).
  • Undergraduate Excellence: 21 students (12 boys, 9 girls).
  • Postgraduate Excellence: 4 women.
  • Ph.D. Scholars: 3 students.

Key Highlights from the Event

  • The ceremony also marked the presence of Divisional and TAD Commissioner Pragya Kevlaramani, Additional Commissioner TAD Geetesh Malviya, and TRI Director OP Jain, alongside other officials, tribal talents, and their families.
  • Minister Kharaṛi and former Minister Dhansingh Rawat launched the Ekatma Campaign in Banswara, aimed at promoting yoga, meditation, health, and environmental awareness across the district.
