State-Level Republic Day Celebrations 2025: Maharana Bhupal Stadium to Host the 76th Republic Day Ceremony

Udaipur, January 24: The historic Maharana Bhupal Stadium in Udaipur will once again play host to the state-level Republic Day celebrations, marking the 76th Republic Day after a decade. On Saturday, Honorable Governor Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde will hoist the national flag at the stadium and take the salute at the ceremonial march-past. The event will also be graced by Honorable Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, several ministers, and distinguished guests.

On the eve of Republic Day, January 25, two key events are scheduled: the “At Home” program at 4 PM at the iconic Saheliyon Ki Bari, and a cultural evening at 6 PM at the Fatehsagar promenade.

Event Highlights

At Home Program:
The “At Home” program will take place at Saheliyon Ki Bari at 4 PM on January 25. Attended by the Governor, Chief Minister, and other dignitaries, this event will recognize individuals for exceptional contributions in art, literature, and public service. Selected police officers and personnel will also be awarded police medals, while the Central Band will present a captivating musical performance.

Cultural Evening:
At 6 PM, the Fatehsagar promenade will host a cultural evening showcasing performances by folk artists. The Governor and Chief Minister will inaugurate a flower show and an Indian Army arms and equipment exhibition. A drone show, launched from Motimagra, will add a spectacular touch to the evening.

Tributes at Shaheed Smarak:
On January 26, at 8:45 AM, a floral tribute will be offered at the Shaheed Smarak, located at the Town Hall complex. The Governor, Chief Minister, and Station Commander will pay homage to known and unknown martyrs and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Main Ceremony at Maharana Bhupal Stadium:
The main event will commence at 9:30 AM on January 26, with the Governor hoisting the national flag and taking the salute during the march-past. Following the Governor’s address, President’s Police Medals will be awarded to ADGP (Recruitment and Promotion Board) Shri Sachin Mittal and ADGP Intelligence and Director of Rajasthan Police Academy Shri S. Sengathir.

The ceremony will feature cultural performances by folk artists and school children, a mesmerizing equestrian show by the police, and musical renditions by the Army, Central Band, and school teams. Six department tableaux and exhibits from 11 districts will also be displayed. The program will conclude with the national anthem.
