State-Level Republic Day Celebrations 2025: Final Rehearsal and Preparations Underway
Udaipur, January 24: With the countdown to the State-Level Republic Day Celebrations 2025 in full swing, the final rehearsal for the minute-to-minute schedule was conducted on Friday with full protocol and dress rehearsal. Divisional Commissioner Ms. Pragya Kevlani and District Collector Arvind Poswal led the proceedings, ensuring every arrangement was finalized in the presence of concerned officials.
At Maharana Bhupal Stadium, the day began early with meticulous rehearsals. Additional Director General of Police Vishal Bansal, Divisional Commissioner Ms. Pragya Kevlani, IG Rajesh Meena, District Collector Arvind Poswal, and Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal supervised the proceedings. The program included a comprehensive run-through of the schedule, from the arrival of dignitaries, flag hoisting, and the national salute to the rendition of the national anthem, parade inspection, and march-past.
Key highlights such as the Governor’s address, distribution of medals and certificates, performances by folk artists and school children, equestrian shows, and band displays were also rehearsed in full dress to ensure perfection. Officials observed the entire event and issued necessary directives to refine the arrangements.
Prominent officials present included UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain, ADM Administration Dipendra Singh Rathore, ADM City War Singh, District Council CEO Hemendra Nagar, Girva SDM Ria Dabi, and TAD Deputy Commissioner Ragini Damor, among others.
Final Touches to Preparations
Preparations at Maharana Bhupal Stadium, Saheliyon Ki Bari, and Fatehsagar Lake’s promenade—the venues for the proposed events—have entered their final phase. The Divisional Commissioner and District Collector personally reviewed each arrangement at the main ceremony site, issuing instructions for any required improvements. Similar reviews were conducted for the “At Home” event at Saheliyon Ki Bari and the cultural evening at Fatehsagar Lake, ensuring all plans are executed seamlessly.
