Jaipur, October 14 (Daily Kiran): Passengers at Jaipur International Airport faced major inconvenience once again as SpiceJet’s Jaipur–Dubai flight was delayed for several hours on Tuesday. Both the outbound (SG-57) and inbound (SG-58) flights between Jaipur and Dubai ran behind schedule, continuing a streak of disruptions that has persisted since late September.

Six-Hour Delay Leaves Passengers Frustrated

According to airport sources, SpiceJet flight SG-58, which was scheduled to depart Dubai at 3:40 AM and arrive in Jaipur early morning, was delayed by nearly six hours due to technical issues. The flight is now expected to land in Jaipur around 9:30 AM, well past its scheduled time.

The delay of the inbound aircraft subsequently affected the Jaipur–Dubai flight (SG-57) as well. Originally set to take off from Jaipur at 9:30 AM and reach Dubai by 12:55 PM, the flight was rescheduled to depart at 3:30 PM.

Long-Standing Schedule Disruptions

Frequent fliers have expressed frustration over SpiceJet’s recurring delays on this route. Since September 28, the airline’s Jaipur–Dubai service has repeatedly faced late departures and extended rescheduling. In some cases, the flights were even cancelled at the last minute, stranding passengers at the airport.

Passengers Complain of Poor Communication

Many travellers reported confusion and lack of timely updates from the airline. Several passengers who had arrived early at the Jaipur airport were seen waiting for hours without clear information on departure status.

The continuous irregularities in SpiceJet’s international operations have raised concerns among passengers and travel agents alike, with calls for improved scheduling and better communication from the airline.
