Saif Ali Khan’s Attacker Caught on CCTV: Suspect Fled Using Staircase

Mumbai, 16 January 2025 : Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife at his Bandra flat, “Satguru Sharan.” Police have now released a CCTV image of the suspect, who fled the crime scene using the building’s staircase. The image was captured on a camera installed on the sixth floor, offering critical evidence for identifying the perpetrator.

Suspect Seen with a Backpack

In the footage, the suspect is seen wearing a black T-shirt and carrying a backpack. He used the staircase to escape after attacking Saif, who resides on the 12th floor of the building. Initially, police couldn’t spot him entering the premises in earlier footage. However, post-incident footage revealed the suspect descending the stairs and leaving the building.

Maid’s Account of the Incident

According to the police, Saif’s maid was present during the attack and tried to stop the suspect upon noticing him inside the flat. She sustained injuries in the process and raised an alarm, prompting Saif to intervene. A scuffle ensued between Saif and the attacker, leading to serious injuries to the actor.

Saif Out of Danger, Under Medical Observation

Following the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent treatment. Doctors have confirmed that the actor is out of danger but will remain under observation for 24 hours.

The police have made the suspect’s image public and are urging citizens to come forward with any information that could lead to his arrest. Investigators suspect that the attacker might be someone familiar with the flat or the building, as he was able to enter and exit undetected initially.
