Ritu Vasant: A Three-Day Cultural Extravaganza at Shilpgram from February 28
Udaipur, February 20 The West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC), Udaipur, is set to welcome the spring season with a grand three-day cultural festival, ‘Ritu Vasant’, at Shilpgram from February 28 to March 2. This celebration of music and dance will bring together some of the most distinguished classical artists, enchanting audiences with their mesmerizing performances.

A Grand Opening with Classical Excellence
The festival will commence on Friday, February 28, with a soul-stirring performance by renowned classical vocalist Pandit Rajendra Vaishnav from Jodhpur. His deep and intricate renditions will set the perfect tone for the festivities.
Following this, Shama Bhate, the esteemed Kathak guru from Pune, will present an exquisite Kathak performance with her troupe. Known as ‘Shama Tai’, she is an iconic figure in the world of Kathak, having dedicated years to the study, preservation, and evolution of the classical dance form.
Day Two: Classical Music and Graceful Movements
On Saturday, March 1, the stage will witness an evocative vocal performance by Goa’s eminent classical singer, Dr. Praveen Gaonkar. He will be accompanied by: Rohidas Parab on tabla

Later in the evening, Amit Gangani and his group will take the stage, delivering a captivating Kathak performance, showcasing the rich heritage of Indian classical dance.

The final day, Sunday, March 2, will be headlined by Jaipur’s renowned classical vocalist Mohammad Aman Khan, whose powerful yet delicate voice has mesmerized audiences across the country.
The festival will culminate with an enchanting Bharatanatyam performance titled ‘Anand Natyam’, presented by Delhi’s esteemed dancer Kanak Sudhakar and her troupe.
