REET-2024: Application Correction Window Opens Today Until January 19
Jaipur, January 17 Candidates applying for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET)-2024 can now make corrections to their applications starting today, January 17, until January 19. Additionally, candidates who had selected examination centers in districts that have been canceled will also be given the option to choose a new exam center. The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has scheduled the REET-2024 exam for February 27.
Application Correction and Submission Opportunities
Kailash Chand Sharma, Secretary of the Rajasthan Board and Coordinator of the REET-2024 exam, announced key updates for candidates:
- Final Opportunity for Submission:
Candidates who generated the challan and paid the exam fee before the January 15 deadline but failed to complete or submit the application form can now do so. This facility will be available until January 19, 12:00 AM (midnight). - Correction in Exam Center Selection:
Candidates who had chosen exam centers in the nine districts canceled by the state government can change their exam center preferences without any additional charges. This facility is available during the same correction window, from January 17 to January 19, 12:00 AM (midnight).
Amendments with Correction Fee
Candidates who have identified errors in their submitted application forms or missed certain entries can also correct these during this period.
- Correction Fee: A fee of Rs. 200 is required for making amendments.
- Payment Process: The challan must be generated and verified. After verification, candidates can enter details such as the challan number, registration number, mother’s name, and date of birth, followed by OTP verification to unlock their application form.
- Non-Editable Fields: Changes will not be permitted in the following fields:
- Candidate’s Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
- Examination Level
- Exam Center Priority Sequence
For other fields, corrections can be made as needed.
