Rajasthan : Young Man Dies After Car Hits Tree Following Collision With Bolero in Jodhpur

Jodhpur, January 16: A tragic accident occurred near Gayatri Chauraha in Shiv village, Boranada, when a Bolero collided with a Swift car, causing the car to veer off the road and crash into a tree. The incident claimed the life of an 18-year-old youth and left his uncle injured. The Bolero driver fled the scene and remains unidentified.

Sequence of Events

According to a report filed with the Boranada police, the incident took place when Ladu Ram, a resident of Bhawnariya ki Dhani in Lunawas Jatan, was driving back to his village from Badliya along with his nephew, Jitendra Choudhary (18).

As their Swift car reached Gayatri Chauraha in Shiv village, a Bolero approaching from the opposite direction made a sharp swerve, striking their car. The impact caused the Swift to lose control and crash into a tree on the roadside.

Fatal Outcome

Jitendra Choudhary sustained severe injuries in the crash. Efforts were made to rush him to AIIMS Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries en route. Ladu Ram, who was also injured in the incident, is recovering.

Police Investigation

The Boranada police have registered a case based on the complaint filed by Ladu Ram. Authorities are actively searching for the Bolero driver, who fled the scene after causing the collision.

Post-Mortem and Funeral

After completing the necessary formalities, the deceased’s body was handed over to the family for the last rites.
