Rajasthan Witnesses Rising Temperatures, Rain Likely in Early February
Jaipur, January 28: Rajasthan is experiencing a noticeable rise in daytime temperatures, marking the transition to warmer days. On Monday, Barmer recorded the highest maximum temperature at 30.1°C, the warmest in the state this season. Cities like Alwar, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer have also seen increased temperatures, reducing the winter chill during the day.
Rainfall Expected in Select Regions
According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, light rainfall accompanied by thunder is expected in some parts of the Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions on January 29. For the rest of the state, weather conditions are likely to remain predominantly dry throughout the coming week.
A slight dip of 1-2°C in minimum and maximum temperatures is anticipated in the next couple of days due to the influence of northern winds.
In the first week of February, a Western Disturbance is expected to become active, potentially bringing light to moderate rainfall to several parts of Rajasthan on February 4 and 5. This system is likely to impact the region for 2-3 days, leading to cooler weather.

With the Western Disturbance expected to bring precipitation in early February, weather patterns may shift once again. The 4-5 February rainfall is likely to impact several districts, potentially cooling temperatures further.
