Clear skies and icy northern winds are contributing to the chill, with relief anticipated starting January 28, as warmer western winds are forecasted to become active.

Frost and Dew Observed Across Rural Areas
On Saturday morning, frost-like conditions were reported in districts including Jaipur, Udaipur, and Churu, with dew drops freezing in rural regions. Meteorologists have stated that this could be the final phase of severe winter, as temperatures are expected to rise gradually from January 28 onward.
Key Weather Developments:
- Northern winds will persist until January 27, keeping temperatures low.
- Western winds are expected to bring slight warmth starting January 28.
- Mild winter conditions may linger until the second week of February, according to experts.

Over the past 24 hours, clear skies and bright sunshine prevailed during the day, while nighttime temperatures dropped significantly in many districts.

- Jalore: 26.1°C (highest in the state).

- Barmer: 25.7°C
- Chittorgarh: 25.6°C
- Ajmer: 24.5°C

The cold wave was most pronounced during the night, with several districts recording temperatures below 10°C.
