Rajasthan Police Academy to Host Police Decoration Ceremony on February 24
64 Officers and Personnel to Receive Prestigious Awards for Excellence in Investigation and Service

Jaipur, February 20 The Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA), Jaipur, is set to host the Police Decoration Ceremony on February 24, 2025. This grand event will honor 64 distinguished police officers and personnel with the Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation, the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, the Medal for Meritorious Service, and the DGP Disc.
The Director General of Police (DGP), Utkal Ranjan Sahu, will be the chief guest, presiding over the medal distribution ceremony to recognize the outstanding contributions of Rajasthan’s police force.
Ceremonial Parade to Mark the Occasion
According to Additional DGP & Director of RPA, S. Sengathir, a Ceremonial Parade will be held to commence the event.

Venue: RPA Parade Ground, Jaipur
DGP Utkal Ranjan Sahu will take the salute at the parade, which will feature eight platoons, including: 4th Battalion RAC, Jaipur
5th Battalion RAC, Jaipur
Jaipur Commissionerate Women’s Unit
Jaipur Commissionerate Men’s Unit & Traffic Unit
Hadi Rani Women’s Battalion, Ajmer
ERT 5th Battalion, RAC Jaipur
Rajasthan Police Academy Platoon
The Central Band of Rajasthan Police Academy will also be present. The parade will be led by IPS officer Jatin Jain (76th batch), currently posted in Bhilwara district.
Following the parade, DGP Sahu will personally honor 64 officers and personnel for their outstanding achievements in investigation and service.
Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation
The Union Home Minister’s Medal will be awarded to eight officers who have displayed exceptional investigation skills:
