Railtel jumps on reporting around 2-fold jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

The scrip opened at Rs. 99.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 103.05 and Rs. 95.60 respectively. So far 124985 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 164.70 on 10-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.00 on 31-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 103.05 and Rs. 94.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3092.24 crore.

Railtel Corporation of India has reported a rise of 98.93% in its net profit at Rs 54.11 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 27.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.85% at Rs 476.34 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 437.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 99.60% in its net profit at Rs 54.31 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 27.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 10.90% at Rs 487.64 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 439.72 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 48.38% in its net profit at Rs 208.34 crore as compared to Rs 140.41 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 16.98% at Rs 1,597.66 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,365.70 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 46.68% in its net profit at Rs 208.95 crore as compared to Rs 142.45 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 15.35% at Rs 1,627.92 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1,411.29 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
