Principal Secretary T. Ravikant conducted a surprise inspection at the Community Health Center (CHC) Dabok today, accompanied by Chief Medical & Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Ashok Aditya, Mavli Sub-Divisional Officer Ramesh Shirvi, and District Program Manager (DPM) Sadakat Ahmed.

During the inspection, CHC Dabok Medical Incharge Dr. Prince Sen provided a detailed walkthrough of the hospital facilities. The Principal Secretary interacted with admitted patients, inquiring about their treatment and the availability of government healthcare schemes. He directed officials to ensure these schemes reach every eligible individual.

• Interaction with medical staff: Engaged with doctors, nursing officers, and support staff to assess service efficiency.
• Facility cleanliness check: Evaluated the hygiene and sanitation of hospital premises, including restrooms.
• Maternity ward assessment: Reviewed the delivery room and directed improvements in maternal healthcare facilities.
• Free medicine and diagnostic schemes: Inspected the medicine stock and examined the supply chain from procurement to patient distribution.
• Ayushman Arogya Yojana compliance: Ordered strict implementation of free medical services under the Ayushman Bharat Health Scheme to ensure all patients receive comprehensive care.

CMHO Dr. Ashok Aditya Inspects Mavli Sub-District Hospital

Following the CHC Dabok inspection, CMHO Dr. Ashok Aditya visited the Mavli Sub-District Hospital to evaluate healthcare services. Dr. Sanjay Paliwal facilitated the hospital tour, covering the OPD, IPD, labor room, NBSU, and general wards.

During the inspection, Dr. Aditya reviewed the availability of essential medicines under the Free Medicine and Diagnostic Scheme. However, serious lapses were identified:

• One dental surgeon and three nursing officers were found absent.
• One nursing officer had been absent for an extended period.

Taking immediate action, CMHO Dr. Ashok Aditya issued show-cause notices to all absent staff members, emphasizing strict accountability in healthcare administration.

The inspection was also attended by District Program Manager Sadakat Ahmed, reinforcing the commitment to enhancing medical services in the region.
