Jaipur : A Press Conference on ‘Indian Army’s New Recruitment Procedure’ chaired by Brig Jagdeep Chauhan DDG Recruiting Rajasthan was held at Sapta Shakti Officers Institute, Jaipur Military Station on 27 Feb 2023.
The Press Conference aimed at providing information about the transformational reforms in Agniveer recruitment process, wherein online Common Entrance Exam has become the first step of recruiting from the Rtg year 2023-24 onward.
Brig Jagdeep Chauhan DDG Recruiting Rajasthan briefed the media about the various phases and stages involved in the new recruitment scheme wherein CEE will be held first followed by physical & medical exam of the qualified candidates. DDG emphasised that aspirants for recruitment should apply between 16 Feb to 15 Mar 2023 as desired candidates can apply only once in an year for recruitment rallies, this year onward.
The highlights of New Recruitment System with online CEE in Phase-I includes Recruitment Notification, Online Registration, Issue of Admit Card, Conduct of Online CEE and Publication of Result & Call Up. The Phase-II of recruitment involves Admit Card & Biometric Verification, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Medical Examination and preparation of the Final Merit
Director Recruiting (State) Col Kailash Jha, Director Recruiting RO (HQ) Col Pushpak Mishra and Lt Col Vishal Mahajan, Adm Officer ZRO also attended the event. A presentation on recruiting process was given by Dir Recruiting (State), whereas Dir Recruiting, RO (HQ) briefed the media about recruitment in Jaipur & Sikar district.
