These projects are worth 14000 crore rupees. These nine highway projects involve a road length of about 350 kilometers. These roads will enhance better connectivity, convenience and economic growth in and around the State.
All rivers in Bihar will have bridges conforming to 21st century specifications, and all major NHs will stand widened and strengthened.
Besides this , the Prime Minister will also launch a project to connect all the villages of Bihar through optical fibre internet . This will be an important step towards bringing a digital revolution in Bihar. It is a prestigious project covering all 45,945 villages of Bihar.
The Prime Minister said that in coming years all the villages and homes of Bihar will be connected through the internet.
