New Delhi : Proceedings of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till Monday following uproar by both BJP and Congress during the Parliamentary Monsoon Session on Friday.
BJP, in both the houses, is demanding an unconditional apology for the derogatory remarks by Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury for the President. While Congress is demanding an apology for the misbehaviour towards Sonia Gandhi.
Lok Sabha began at 11 am today and was adjourned till 12 noon shortly thereafter. After the commencement of the proceedings at 12 pm, it was again adjourned for the day due to the uproar. A similar situation prevailed in Rajya Sabha, after starting at 11 am, it was adjourned till 12 pm within 10 minutes and at 12 pm again it was adjourned for the day as the ruckus continued.
