Pandit Dhirendra Shastri Visits Shri Nathji Temple, Calls for a Focus on Real Devotion During Mahakumbh
Nathdwara: Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, known for his spiritual influence and captivating discourses, visited the revered Shri Nathji Temple in Nathdwara on Thursday evening. Accompanied by noted religious figures Indresh Upadhyay and Radhakrishna Maharaj, Shastri participated in the temple’s Sandhya Aarti and later offered prayers for India to become a Hindu nation soon.

A Spiritual Visit to Shri Nathji Temple
After witnessing the Sandhya Aarti, Pandit Shastri, along with his companions, visited the Mahaprabhuji Ki Baithak as per temple tradition. They were greeted warmly by temple officials, including officer Sudhakar Shastri, assistant officer Anil Sanadhya, and secretary Leeladhar Purohit. As a gesture of respect, they were presented with traditional uparna, quilts, and prasad.
Message for Mahakumbh: Real, Not Reel Devotion
During his visit, Shastri emphasized the significance of the upcoming Mahakumbh, an event taking place after a gap of 144 years. “This is a sacred occasion for all Sanatan Hindus to bathe in the holy waters and immerse themselves in devotion,” he said.
Addressing the youth, he urged them to visit Mahakumbh for genuine spiritual experience rather than creating content for social media. “Our ancient traditions are not for reels but for real devotion. Youngsters should not chase selfies with celebrities; instead, they should strive to become so accomplished that others seek selfies with them,” Shastri remarked.
Participation in Shri Giridhar Lalji Anand Utsav
Following the temple visit, Pandit Shastri and his delegation proceeded to the Shri Giridhar Lalji Anand Utsav, held at the parking area on 120 Feet Road. The event, known for its vibrant celebrations and spiritual fervor, saw Shastri sharing his blessings and wisdom with attendees.
High Security and Confidentiality
To ensure Pandit Shastri’s safety, his visit was kept confidential, and a strong security arrangement was in place. Police teams from four stations were deployed to maintain order and manage the crowd during the spiritual leader’s visit.
A Call for Cultural Revival
Pandit Dhirendra Shastri’s visit to Nathdwara underscores his commitment to reviving India’s cultural and spiritual heritage. His appeal to prioritize real devotion over superficial displays resonates with his broader vision of a spiritually awakened and self-reliant nation.
