Pacific University Hosts Two-Day Conference on Emerging Technologies and Innovation
Udaipur, February 21, 2025 Pacific University commenced its highly anticipated two-day conference on “Emerging Technologies and Innovation”, organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.
Technology and Innovation: The Future of Development
Delivering the keynote address, Prof. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of MBM University, Jodhpur, and Bikaner Technical University, emphasized the critical role of technology and innovation in shaping the future. He stressed that integrating technology in education is essential for enhancing employment opportunities and tackling future challenges.
Prof. Anupam Bhatnagar, a distinguished speaker, highlighted how emerging technologies are revolutionizing industries and society. He stated, “Emerging technologies, which include advanced innovations yet to be widely adopted, are driving transformative changes across multiple sectors, enhancing efficiency and safety in our daily lives.” He added that these advancements, when utilized effectively, could bring groundbreaking improvements in education, healthcare, business, and environmental sustainability.

Prof. B.P. Sharma, Group President of Pacific University, underscored the importance of Techno-Nationalism, asserting that technology should be developed in alignment with national priorities. He emphasized that strategic utilization of technology can lead to significant achievements in key sectors such as education, healthcare, commerce, and environmental conservation.
Further reinforcing the significance of the event, University President Prof. Hemant Kothari stated, “This conference provides a platform for researchers to explore innovations in artificial intelligence, automation, and robotics, paving the way for a global industrial revolution.”

Providing insights into the event, Conference Secretary Dr. Shankar Patel revealed that 144 scientists and researchers from multiple countries, including the USA, Kuwait, and Nepal, are participating in the conference.
