NTPC trades higher on commencing commercial operation of 74.88 MW Fatehgarh Solar PV Project

NTPC is currently trading at Rs. 135.45, up by 1.20 points or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 134.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 134.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 134.25 and Rs. 134.25 respectively. So far 754 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 152.10 on 19-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 93.20 on 24-Feb-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 144.30 and Rs. 133.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 130177.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.62% and 3.28% respectively.

NTPC has commenced commercial operation of second part capacity of 74.88 MW out of 296 MW Fatehgarh Solar PV Project at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan with effect from February 5, 2022. With this, commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC group has become 54377.30 MW and 67832.30 MW respectively.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
