MP Weather Update : Cold Wave to Return in Madhya Pradesh from January 25, Temperatures to Drop by 2-3 Degrees
Bhopal, January 23: Madhya Pradesh is set to experience another cold spell starting January 25, with temperatures expected to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius due to the impact of northern winds. Over the past few days, the state has enjoyed some respite from the biting cold, with bright sunshine during the day raising daytime temperatures. However, nights remain chilly, and the Meteorological Department predicts a sharp dip in temperatures as cold winds make a comeback.
Weather Conditions Over the Past Few Days
The current weather patterns in Madhya Pradesh are influenced by two active systems:
- Cyclonic Circulation over Punjab and nearby regions.
- Western Disturbance (WD): Causing southeastern winds to dominate.
These factors have led to an increase in temperatures over the last five days, especially in areas previously experiencing cold waves. Cities that reported daytime temperatures below 20°C are now seeing significant warming, with bright sunshine reducing the impact of the cold.
