MDS Student Pranay Tripathi Selected for Asian Lacrosse Championship in Japan

Udaipur, February 18, 2025 MDS Senior Secondary School, Udaipur, proudly announces that its student Pranay Tripathi has been selected to represent Team India at the prestigious Asian Lacrosse Championship to be held in Okinawa, Japan, from February 20 to 23, 2025.

Pranay’s selection is a testament to his dedication, skill, and passion for the sport. Having showcased exceptional performances in national-level tournaments, he has earned his place in the Indian squad. He will be competing alongside two other players from Udaipur, representing Rajasthan on an international stage. Pranay harbors a bigger dream—to compete in the 2028 Olympics, where lacrosse is set to feature as an official sport.

Expressing his pride, Dr. Shailendra Somani, Director of MDS, congratulated Pranay on this remarkable achievement and wished him great success in Japan. He also extended his gratitude to Pranay’s coach, Neeraj Batra, for his guidance and mentorship.
