Guwahati : A GRP team recovered a huge amount of gold from a person during a search on Tuesday morning from Guwahati railway station. Later the GRP arrested the person. The accused had made powder of gold and filled it in three capsules.
Guwahati GRP informed that Mohammed Shafi has been arrested along with gold worth ₹50 lakh from Rajdhani Express during the search operation conducted at Guwahati railway station on Tuesday morning. The arrested accused was going to Kerala from Dimapur. The police are investigating the after registering an FIR in this regard.
