Major Administrative Reshuffle in Rajasthan: 53 IAS, 24 IPS, and 113 RAS Officers Transferred

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Rajasthan government transferred 53 IAS, 24 IPS, 34 IFS, and 113 RAS officers in a late-night order on Friday. The changes include new appointments for four divisional commissioners and three district collectors.

Notably, Udaipur Collector Arvind Poswal has been appointed as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister, while Jaipur, Bikaner, Kota, and Udaipur have seen new divisional commissioners.

1. Major IAS Transfers: Key Appointments

  • Arvind Poswal: Transferred from Udaipur Collector to Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister.
  • Namit Mehta: Appointed as Udaipur Collector (previously Bhilwara Collector).
  • Jasmeet Sandhu: Transferred from Salumber Collector to Bhilwara Collector.
