Major Administrative Reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh: 42 IAS Officers Transferred
Bhopal, January 28: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 42 IAS officers, including collectors of 12 districts, and issued new postings. Additionally, 12 officers from the State Administrative Service have also been reassigned. The General Administration Department issued the transfer orders late Monday night.

- Chief Minister’s Secretariat Adjustments:
- Bharat Yadav, Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been appointed as Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation.
- Avinash Lavania, promoted to Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat last month, has been transferred as Managing Director of the Power Management Company.
- Sibi Chakravarthy M. has been named Secretary to the Chief Minister, along with the additional responsibilities of Commissioner of Urban Administration and Development.
- District Collector Changes:
Collectors in the following districts have been replaced: Guna, Khargone, Dindori, Sehore, Satna, Barwani, Tikamgarh, Raisen, Khandwa, Sheopur, Dewas, and Burhanpur.- Guna: Satendra Singh has been reassigned as MD of the State Cooperative Dairy Federation, replaced by Kishore Kumar Kanyal from Sheopur.
- Khargone: Karmveer Sharma is now Commissioner of Food and Civil Supplies, while Bhavya Mittal from Burhanpur takes over.
- Dindori: Neha Maraviya Singh, after a long wait for a collector position, is now the district’s new collector.
- Sehore: Praveen Singh has been transferred as Director of Public Health, with Bala Guru K. taking over as the new collector.
- Satna: Anurag Verma has been reassigned as MD of the State Warehouse Corporation, with Satish Kumar S. becoming the new collector.
- Barwani: Dr. Fating Rahul Haridas is now Commissioner of MP Housing Board, replaced by Guncha Sanober.
- Tikamgarh: Awadhesh Sharma has been made OSD and Joint Commissioner of Technical Education, while Vivek Shrotriya takes over as collector.

- Khandwa: Anup Kumar Singh has been posted as MD of the Western Power Distribution Company, with Rishabh Gupta from Dewas filling the role.
- Sheopur: Arpit Verma, CEO of Damoh District Panchayat, has been appointed as collector.
- Dewas: Rituraj Singh, after a long tenure as CEO of the Bhopal District Panchayat, is now the collector.
