Mahindra BE 6: A Revolutionary Step in India’s EV Landscape
Mahindra has taken a significant stride in the electric vehicle (EV) market with the launch of the Mahindra BE 6, further solidifying its commitment to sustainable mobility. First introduced in November 2024, the BE 6 is an all-electric SUV built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, designed to deliver a premium experience with cutting-edge technology and superior performance.

Mahindra BE 6 Variants and Pricing
At the time of launch, Mahindra announced pricing for the base Pack One variant, equipped with a 59 kWh battery pack, at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹18.90 lakh. However, in January 2025, the company revealed the pricing for the top-spec Pack Three variant, which comes with a larger 79 kWh battery pack, priced at ₹26.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
In an unexpected move, Mahindra also announced that initially, only the Pack Three variant would be available for customers, delaying the rollout of the base variant. This strategic decision ensures early adopters get the most premium version of the BE 6 before the company expands availability to lower variants.
‘Three for Me’ Financing Programme
To make the high-end Pack Three variant more accessible, Mahindra introduced the ‘Three for Me’ financing programme in partnership with Mahindra Finance. This scheme allows customers to own the BE 6 Pack Three with a monthly EMI of ₹39,224, which is similar to the EMI for the base Pack One variant.
Key Aspects of the ‘Three for Me’ Programme:
- Downpayment: Customers must make an initial downpayment of 15.5% of the ex-showroom cost, amounting to ₹4.16 lakh.
- EMI Structure: A fixed EMI of ₹39,224 per month for 72 months (6 years), totaling approximately ₹28.24 lakh over the loan tenure.
- Balloon Payment: At the end of the sixth year, a lump sum balloon payment of ₹4.65 lakh must be made.
- Total Cost: Factoring in all payments, the effective on-road cost of the BE 6 Pack Three variant under this programme exceeds ₹35 lakh.
While this financing scheme significantly lowers the initial ownership cost, customers must consider the long-term financial commitment before opting for this plan.
