Maharana Bhupal Singh ji was the proponent of modernization and a great man with far-reaching thinking towards education – Kanvarani Mahima Kumari ji Mewar

(Grand opening of the centenary year celebration of Vidya Pracharini Sabha Bhupal Nobles’ Sansthan)

Udaipur : The centenary celebrations of the establishment of Vidya Pracharini Sabha Bhupal Nobles’ Sansthan began with Panchkundiya Havan Yagya and Lord Ganesh Stuti. On this occasion, as the chief guest, the dignified presence of Shrimant Maharani Nirupama Kumari ji Mewar and Kanvarani Shrimant Mahima Kumari ji Mewar was received. Giving her speech and best wishes on the occasion of this grand event, she said that it is the result of the vision of Shreeji Huzur Maharana Bhupal Singh ji that this Bhupal Nobles’ organization was established on January 2, 1923 and today it is going to celebrate the centenary of its establishment. Maharana Bhupal Singh ji had a special attachment towards modernization and he always called for learning new technology. She conveyed the best wishes sent by the President and Chief Patron Shreeji Huzur Maharana Mahendra Singh Ji Mewad, that completing the long journey of 100 years of any organization is a big achievement in itself. She said that this progress is the result of collective efforts made without any selfishness. On this occasion, the calendar of annual event of Centenary Festival celebrations was released by the guests.

Giving best wishes and blessings on this occasion, Gurumaiya Bhuvaneshwari Puri ji of Segra Dhuni Pith said that it is necessary to have understanding and culture in education. She said that the work which Vidya Pracharini Sabha is doing in the field of education is doing service to the nation, it is worth saluting, and there is a need for proper promotion of education in global conditions.

Earlier, former Principal Bhupal Nobles’ P.G. College Dr. Yuvraj Singh Jhala, presented a brief account of the 100 years of glory of Vidya Pracharini Sabha Bhupal Nobles’ Sansthan. He brought to life the historical process of the creation of this institution through words. He said that Maharana Bhupal Singh ji had conceived Pratap University in May 1947 itself and the budget was also announced for it and it is a matter of pride for us that that vision of the university came true in the year 2015 as Bhupal Nobles’ University came into existence. He dedicated himself completely to the organization. Guman Singh ji Roopakheri, Mr. Swaroop Singh ji Gyangarh remembered and bowed down to on this occasion, that the present form of this institute is the result of the commitment of such workers here. In this sequence, the Vice Chancellor of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Prof. Col. Shiv Singh ji Sarangdevot told how the then Maharaj Kumar Bhupal Singh ji, devoted to education under dire circumstances, took interest in giving it a tangible form after getting approval from Maharana Fatah Singh ji to open an educational institution. Rao Bahadur Rajsinh ji Bedla took intense interest and contributed in establishing this institute and in the year 1923 with the first two students were Moti Singh ji Thana (Tal) and Shiv Singh Parsad and a teacher Shakti Singh ji Vijaypur. Two students to four students and four to thirty-six and currently thirteen thousand students are getting education from here and are giving their invaluable services in various fields, defense, service, political administration, justice, educationist, scientific fields in the country and abroad every year. Remembered and bowed down to all the builders workers who helped in the establishment of the institute.

Earlier the Secretary of the Institute, Dr. Mahendra Singh Rathore welcomed the guests, said that it is a matter of pride for the institute that this institute is functioning in its progressive form today, while traveling continuously for 100 years. At present there are fourteen different streams operating in the institute and it has made a special contribution in the field of girl education. Ministers and former Managing Directors underlined the special contribution of Guman Singh Ji Roopakheri, Udai Singh Ji Salampura, Rawat Manohar Singh Ji Thana, Tej Singh Ji Bansi, Niranjan Narayan Singh ji Khod, Yashwant Singh Ji Madara and Gunwant Singh Ji Jhadol etc. He also specially mentioned about Prof. Devkaran Singh ji Rupaheli as the oldest member of the institute who participated in its silver jubilee, golden jubilee, diamond jubilee, platinum jubilee and now in centenary of the institute, all people remembered him as Devkaran Singh ji Madsahab. Pradeep Singh ji Purawat Singoli, the Acting President of the institute, while giving his speech in Mewari language said this institute is going to celebrate its centenary year and expressed happiness that it is the result of the dedicated workers here that this institution is continuously moving on the path of progress.. This institution is thanks to the Mewar dynasty and its progress would not have been possible without dedication. The students here are spreading fame not only in the country but also abroad. He wished that the organization continued to progress double the night and quadruple.

A huge balloon marked as 100 Year Celebration of BN Sansthan was also installed in Institute and released by Maharani Sahiba Nirupama Kumari ji.
