Kharge slams PM’s silence on communal violence

New Delhi, April 13 : Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for remaining silent over incidents of communal violence across the country. “Narendra Modi ji is the first PM in 75 years who is silent on rising hate and violence in the country. Says a lot,” Kharge said in a tweet. His comments came as several incidents of communal violence were reported on Ram Navmi on April 10. Incidents were reported from states including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, West Bengal and Jharkhand. Many were injured in the communal clashes on Sunday in the states and a person was killed in Gujarat.
