“JAIPUR MILITARY STATION ADJUDGED THE BEST GREEN STATION FOR THE YEAR 2021-22 AMONGST ALL THE MILITARY STATIONS”

Jaipur : Jaipur Military Station was adjudged the Best Green Station for the year 2021-22 amongst all the Military Stations. The award was conferred by Gen Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, the Chief of the Army Staff  on 12 November  2022 during the award ceremony at New Delhi on 11th November 2022.

 Best green station of the Year award was instituted in 2021 to  reward initiatives undertaken by stations and cantonments towards environment conservation de- carbonization and sustainable development. One selected station from each Command participated in the competition.

Participating stations were judged for predefined environment parameters like rainwater harvesting, solid and hazardous waste management, Waste Land development, use of renewable energy, afforestation etc
