Aurangabad,Apr 13 : Aurangabad AIMIm MP Imtiaz Jalil had pursued the demand of Maulana Azad Minority Economic Development Corporation to increase the limit of educational loans for students pursuing degree and postgraduate courses in various educational courses from economically weaker sections of the minority comm ty. Accordingly, the managing director of Maulana Azad Minority Economic Development Corporation issued a circular stating that the education loan limit has been increased by 2.50 lakhs, according to official press statement from Mr Jaleel. Students and parents had pointed out to Mr Jaleel that the education loan provided by Maulana Azad Economic Development Corporation was insufficient at present due to the huge increase in tuition fees over the last few years. The financial future of the students was in jeopardy as there was no option for parents to complete their education due to poor financial condition of the families. In particular, medical students were facing many difficulties. Mr Jaleel took the matter seriously so that the students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the minority comm ty should not be deprived of education due to financial constraints and had demanded an increase loan amout. At present limit of the Educational Loan Scheme is Rs. 5.00 lakhs and now it has been increased up to Rs 7.50 and from 2.50 lakh to 5 lakh ,he added. VKB JM 1956
