A total of 25 states are expected to be impacted by inclement weather until May 7, raising concerns over public safety and potential disruptions.

Widespread Rainfall and Thunderstorms Sweep North to South India

North and Central India: Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and Rajasthan
-
Eastern India: Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal

-
Western India: Maharashtra and Gujarat
