He will also lay the foundation stone for three infrastructure projects of Land Ports Authority of India. These projects, involving 71 non-residential buildings, over five thousand residential quarters and 34 barracks, constructed at a total cost of around 1900 crore rupees.
The projects are spread across 17 States including Assam, Kerala, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Rajasthan.
The Ministry said Centre has been taking various measures to enhance the capacity building of Central Armed Police Forces.
It said, in the last five years, over 1773 infrastructure projects of the CAPFs have been sanctioned with a total outlay of over 12 thousand crore rupees.
