Gold Prices Continue to Decline Across Indian Markets, Down by ₹930 Per 10 Grams Last Week

New Delhi, June 22 — Indian bullion markets displayed a continued trend of softness this week, with gold prices falling notably over the past seven days. On Sunday, 24-carat gold was trading between ₹1,00,750 and ₹1,00,900 per 10 grams in most major cities, while 22-carat gold hovered between ₹92,350 and ₹92,500 per 10 grams.

Similarly, silver prices also witnessed a decline. The bright metal is currently priced at ₹1,10,000 per kilogram in Delhi’s bullion market.

Gold Drops Sharply on Weekly Basis

Over the week, from Monday to Saturday, 24-carat gold prices fell by up to ₹930 per 10 grams across various bullion markets in the country. Likewise, 22-carat gold became cheaper by as much as ₹850 per 10 grams during the same period.

While gold showed significant volatility and an overall downward movement, silver prices remained relatively stable on a weekly basis, despite experiencing day-to-day fluctuations.

City-wise Gold Prices on Sunday

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,00,900 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹92,500 per 10 grams.

In Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,00,750 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold at ₹92,350 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold reached ₹1,00,800 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling for ₹92,400 per 10 grams.

Chennai markets saw 24-carat gold at ₹1,00,750 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹92,350 per 10 grams. Kolkata followed a similar trend, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,00,750 and 22-carat gold at ₹92,350 per 10 grams.

Broad Decline Across Multiple States

In Lucknow, gold was priced at ₹1,00,900 per 10 grams for 24-carat and ₹92,500 for 22-carat. In Patna, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,00,800 per 10 grams and 22-carat at ₹92,400 per 10 grams.

Jaipur also reported 24-carat gold at ₹1,00,900 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹92,500 per 10 grams.

Consistent with trends in other regions, gold prices in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar also declined. In all three capitals—Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha—24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,00,750 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹92,350 per 10 grams.
