Five shooters of Kala Jatheri-Lawrence Bishnoi gang arrested

New Delhi, April 4 : Five sharp shooters of jailed gangsters Kala Jatheri and Lawrence Bishnoi, who were wanted in sensational shootout for extortion case involving Rs one crore, were arrested from Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Haryana by a Special Cell of Delhi Police. They have been identified as S l Kumar Meghwal (23), Deepak Kashyap (25), Deepak (26), Krishna Gopal Kashyap (22) and Chanderbhan Nayak (22). The accused were wanted by Delhi police in a case of shootout for extortion in the office of a Real Estate Businessman at Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, said Pramod Singh Kushwaha, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police. The shooters were allegedly involved in cases of attempt to murder, extortion, Arms Act and Excise Act in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. They gave three handwritten slips to the owner and then fired at him, causing bullet injury in both his legs. The owner is admitted in hospital. A case under relevant Sections of law was registered at Mohan Garden Police Station Mohan, Dwarka, Delhi, said Kushwaha. A team of Special Cell had visited the spot, studied the modus operandi of the gang with the help of CCTV footage and found that there were five shooters, who had come on two motorcycles. On the basis of specific input, a team conducted raids in Sri Ganganagar (Rajasthan) and apprehended S l. On his instance, raids were conducted in Hanumangarh (Rajasthan) and four more shooters of the gang were arrested. During interrogation, they told police that they had executed the shootout for extortion in Mohan Garden, said the DCP. CM RJ
