Eicher Motors falls despite its JV reports 7.3% rise in sales in February

Eicher Motors is currently trading at Rs. 2351.00, down by 60.40 points or 2.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 2411.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2400.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2400.00 and Rs. 2300.00 respectively. So far 31224 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2995.35 on 27-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2,300.00 on 04-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2620.00 and Rs. 2,300.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 65352.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.22%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.28% and 11.50% respectively.

Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture (JV) — VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported a 7.3 per cent jump in sales to 5,856 units in February. The company had sold 5,457 units in February 2021. Total domestic sales of Eicher-branded commercial vehicles (CV) last month stood at 5,093 units, as against 4,825 units in the year-ago month, a growth of 5.6 per cent.
