Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Associate Professor, BN College of Pharmacy, was awarded the Best Innovative Teacher Award at the National Pharmacy Summit 2022 by Pharm Lok New Delhi. The program was organized at Symphony, Peeragarhi, Delhi. About 400 faculty members from educational institutions from different states and cities from all over India participated in the event.
The chief guest was Dr. Montu Patel, President, Pharmacy Council of India and the guests of honor were Prof. Dr. RK Khar, Dr. DD Santhani. The organizer of the event Amit Jha said that about 30 people who have done outstanding work in the field of research, academic activities and pharmacy in various pharma categories were awarded and industry and academia discussions were also organized.
PCI President Dr. Montu Patel elaborated on the current and future of Indian pharmacy context and called for the early implementation of several quality standards and gave a call to celebrate the father of pharmacy education in India, Prof. Mahadev Lal Shroff’s birthday every year on March 6 in every college.
He Congratulated on the success of Amit Jha’s pharmacy awareness journey in India. Professor RK Khar stressed upon the purity in the research and the researcher on continuous education and new researches and asked to keep updating himself with time and suggested to increase his knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
In this sequence, Prof. DD Santhani called for speeding up research on various topics related to pharmacology and drug delivery in the present context. New concepts, techniques and new discoveries were discussed. Dr. Vibhu Sawhney, Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Dr. Dipendra Singh, Dr. Prabhakar Reddy from PCI and Dr. Satish Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of Glocal University Saharanpur, Professor Dr. O.P. Tiwari from Prayagraj, Dr. MS Asawat from Jwalaji, Dr.
Kumar Gaurav from Yamunanagar, NIMS Dr. Saurabh Kause etc. were present. Dr. Jayabalan, Dr. Jayesh Dwivedi, Dr. Rahul Garg, Dr. Kalpesh Gaur and Dr. Vishal Garg from Rajasthan were also honored with the award.
