Dhara’s Dali Gameti Selected for National School Under-17 Women’s Cricket Tournament
Udaipur, January 27: In a proud moment for Udaipur, Dali Gameti from the Government Senior Secondary School, Dhara, has been selected for the Rajasthan team to participate in the 68th National School Under-17 Women’s Cricket Tournament. Her stellar performance in the recently held state-level competition in Rajsamand earned her a place among the top 25 players shortlisted for trials in Bikaner.
Following a rigorous two-day selection process, Dali secured a spot in the final 16-member Rajasthan team. The team will undergo training in Bikaner before heading to Panchkula, Haryana, to compete in the national tournament, scheduled from February 3 to February 7.
A Rising Star from Dhara
Dali’s achievement has brought pride to her tribal community and the region. Physical Education Teacher Neeraj Batra praised her dedication and talent, highlighting her potential to excel at higher levels. The Rajasthan team, after completing their training camp, will represent the state in the national tournament, showcasing the skills of young players like Dali on a prestigious platform.
