New Delhi, January 29 : Water management solutions provider Denta Water made a resounding debut on the stock market today, delivering impressive gains to IPO investors. The company’s shares, issued at ₹294 per share, were listed at ₹330 on the BSE and ₹325 on the NSE, providing an initial listing gain of approximately 12% to investors.
Following its listing, strong buying momentum propelled the stock to ₹346.45, hitting the upper circuit limit, translating into a 17.84% gain on the very first trading day.

Blockbuster Subscription for Denta Water IPO
Denta Water’s ₹220.50 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) was open for subscription from January 22 to January 24 and received an overwhelming response from investors. The IPO was oversubscribed 221.54 times in total, reflecting strong demand across investor categories:
- Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs): 236.94 times subscription
- Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs): 507.07 times subscription
- Retail Investors: 90.38 times subscription
Under the IPO, the company issued 7.5 million fresh shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The proceeds will be utilized to meet working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.

According to the company’s prospectus, Denta Water has demonstrated consistent financial growth over the years.
- FY 2021-22: Net profit of ₹38.34 crore
- FY 2022-23: Net profit surged to ₹50.11 crore
- FY 2023-24: Net profit climbed further to ₹59.73 crore
During this period, the company’s revenue witnessed an impressive 42% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), reaching ₹241.84 crore.
For the first half of FY 2024 (April-September 2024), Denta Water has already recorded a net profit of ₹24.20 crore on a revenue of ₹98.51 crore, reinforcing investor confidence in its financial stability and growth trajectory.
