The scheme will be effective from November 4 to November 15, and is being implemented in view of the severe air pollution in the national capital.Two-wheelers will be exempt under the scheme.

Violation of the rules will attract a penalty of Rs. 4,000, double of the earlier fine of Rs 2,000. Private CNG vehicles will also have to follow the scheme, including all non-goods vehicles coming to Delhi from other states.
