CRPF Soldier Opens Fire on Colleagues in Manipur Camp, Three Dead

Imphal, February 14 A shocking incident unfolded on Thursday night at the CRPF camp in Lamsang, Imphal West district, where a soldier opened fire on his fellow troops, resulting in the death of two personnel and injuries to eight others.

Shooter Takes His Own Life After Attack

Following the deadly attack, the accused CRPF jawan turned his service rifle on himself and committed suicide. All the personnel involved belonged to the F-120 company of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Senior officials from Manipur Police and CRPF immediately reached the site to assess the situation and begin an investigation into the motive behind the attack.
