18 Modified Bullets Seized in Two-Day Operation

In a two-day operation on January 27 and 28, a team led by Hiranmagri Station In-Charge Bharat Yogi seized 18 Bullet motorcycles with unauthorized, noise-polluting silencers. These modified silencers were dismantled on the spot to prevent further misuse.

The crackdown was conducted under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Umesh Ojha and City East DSP Chhagan Purohit, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to maintaining road safety and reducing noise pollution.

Ensuring Safer Roads and Peaceful Streets

The move aims to curb the rising menace of noise pollution caused by illegally modified bikes, which disrupt public peace and pose a safety risk on city roads. By targeting these offenders, the police seek to send a strong message against violations of vehicle modification norms.

Police Appeal to Riders

The Udaipur Police has appealed to motorcycle owners to adhere to the manufacturer’s standard specifications for silencers and avoid installing illegal modifications.
“Modified silencers not only violate noise pollution regulations but also endanger public safety. Riders are urged to comply with the law and contribute to a safer, quieter environment,” a senior police official stated.
