Chief Justice of India designate, Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Several judges of Supreme court and Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal attended the event.
The book which captures the historical developments which took place in the history of nation’s courts has been published by the Publication Division.
Speaking on the occasion, the CJI said that it’s not only by writing judgments that you contribute to the system…. every court hall has a story and books like Courts of India which document those stories also play an important role in the justice delivery system.
