Raipur, September 4 (Kiran News): Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 940.7 mm since the beginning of the monsoon on June 1, according to data released by the State Revenue and Disaster Management Department’s Flood Control Room on Thursday.

Among districts, Balrampur has received the highest rainfall at 1,323.4 mm, while Bemetara recorded the lowest at 457.1 mm.

Bilaspur Division: Bilaspur (971.8 mm), Mungeli (954.3 mm), Raigarh (1,146.4 mm), Sarangarh-Bilaigarh (791.9 mm), Janjgir-Champa (1,125.7 mm), Sakti (1,015.0 mm), Korba (958.5 mm), Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi (897.8 mm).

Officials said the rainfall distribution has been fairly widespread across divisions, with Bastar, Balrampur, Dantewada and Bijapur among the highest-receiving districts this season.
