Campus Activewear soars on acquiring land to expand existing capacity

Campus Activewear is currently trading at Rs. 342.70, up by 11.90 points or 3.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 330.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 335.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 346.00 and Rs. 334.85 respectively. So far 60230 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 640.00 on 19-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 296.85 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 346.00 and Rs. 329.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10079.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.37% and 13.61% respectively.

Campus Activewear has acquired Land and Building from Marico Industries in Ponta Sahib to expand its existing capacity for the manufacturing of semi-finished goods (Sole and /or Upper) and assembly of footwear. The total cash consideration for this transaction is Rs 16.70 crore.

Campus Activewear manufactures and distributes a variety of footwear like Running Shoes, Walking Shoes, Casual Shoes, Floaters, Slippers, Flip Flops and Sandals in multiple colours and styles at affordable prices.
